Our story

Horticulture was a calling for Geoff White from an early age. After attaining his horticultural apprenticeship and working at Duncan & Davies, Geoff developed Te Karanga Nurseries – translated as ‘The Calling’ – together with wife Jane.

Geoff and Jane set up their nursery on their 2.5 hectare property at Tikorangi in 2005 and later moved to their current 4.6 hectare nursery block on Joll Street in Waitara, where their small, dedicated team grow and supply field-grown bare-rooted and potted ornamental trees and shrubs.
